All good things must come to an end (at least temporarily)
to re-emerge in a different form. Or, as one of those
literary quotes that have lingered in the cortex for nearly
a half a century: "The old order yieldeth to the new, and
G-d fulfills himself in many ways lest one good habit
currupt the world." Idylls of the King - Alfred Tennyson
This morning, in an unambiguous "to whom it may concern"
note our SYSOP wrote: "Whoever subscribed to <Scouts-L> must
unsubscribe immediately." Of concern were the 80 messages
in a 24 hour period clogging up the system capacity (not to
mention our individual minds).
So, I'll be converting to the Digest until I firmly
establish my home-link. [for those in NCAC, with MACs, the
Washington Apple Pi user group is offering full GUI/
Netscape access 90 min./day at approx. $8 per month.]
One of my particular interests is Scouting for persons with
Disabling conditions [physical, cognitive, etc.]. So,
please remember to tag my address onto your messages on
those subjects. I've enjoyed this a lot! Thanks!!!
