You probably will not have much success changing the attitude of the
PTA. The National PTA has really discouraged the sponsorship of Scout units.
The scool board attorney checked out all the liability details
and declared everything was fine with the BSA insurance and all that.
The PTA still would not listen.
The issue with the PTAs extends well beyond the local school or
national level of the PTA. The PTA national works hand in glove with
the NEA. The NEA is NO friend of scouting due to our stand on
homosexuals and religion. One of the objectives of the very liberal
NEA is to get any association with any sort of religious belief out of
the schools. They continue to push their diversity agenda, one
cornerstone of which is the acceptance of homosexuals in schools and
leadership positions. All we have to do to get PTA endorsement is
remove 'God' from the oath, repeal the 12th law, and then to admit
homosexuals to the leadership corps.
