<Jess Olonoff asks "should the Cubmaster attend the camporee">
One solution used by leaders of all types around here is the sat.
night cobbler. The Cubmaster or Scoutmaster will arrange to come
out to camp Sat. evening about supper time and stay until lights out.
Often, if desired, the CM/SM will offer to cook a dutch-oven cobbler
or other evening treat. (Cubs often use those toaster iron thingies)
This gives the assistants a chance, and those who want an
appearance by the CM/SM for PR or other reasons are happy too.
