Our district has a permanent "camporee guidebook" which is distributed to all
troops in the district. It includes the rules, schedule of activities,
registration materials, inspection score sheets, and 52 event descriptions.
Unit leaders receive a one-page letter with a map to the camporee site, a
list of the events to be held at the camporee, the camporee fee, and any
changes to the "standard" schedule.
Since we have recently merged two districts, we are in the process of
revising the guidebook. I'll be happy to send anyone a copy of the draft in
exchange for your comments and suggestions. It's in Word for Windows v6.0
format, but if necessary I can convert it if you'll let me know what format
you want it in.
