Paul (and list)
I contacted the BSA Division at National two years ago about this very thing
and they were very clear that it didn't matter how many offices the scout
held, it was the months not the hours that mattered.
We also had a scout that wanted to get 3 months credit of being a den chief
because he worked full time at Cub Day camp as a den chief for two weeks. He
reasoned that since a typical Den Chief might work a couple of hours a week,
since he worked 30 hours a week, he should get more credit. That didn't wash
either. We gave him credit for 2 weeks.
The contact at the national office also sent a letter so that I could show
it to the scout and (more importantly) his persistant father. I talked with
T.J. VanHouten in the BSA Division.
