Equipment: one tin can for each Cub
board or fence rail
nametags to hang on board
Line the cans up about a foot apart on the board. Hang a nametag under
each can so that you can tell whose has been knocked over. Line the boys
up behind a foul line 10 feet from the targets. They each find 6 rocks
and on the signal begin trying to knock down everyone else's cans before
their own is knocked down. Once their own can is knocked down, they have
been shot down and can not make any more throws this round.
After a few rounds I separated them into teams, and the teams tried to
knock each other off. We kept score for the teams.
The Cubs loved it.
