Most synthetic fill sleeping bags can be washed following the manufacturers
directions, however this operation is beyond the capacity of the normal home
washing machine and is best done at a laundermat with commercial high
capacity machines. By the way if the laundermat offers washing/drying
services by the pound it may be worth it to have them wash them for you. I
have my son and my bags done at least once a season and it runs under $20.00
verses $16.00 in change and 2 hours time.
