I find this to be an interesting conclusion. I was very fortunate to have
the same (excellent) DE for the first four years I was involved as an
adult leader. He moved on because he got lots of feedback (from the
professional ranks) that he was going to be viewed as stagnating in his
job and would kill his career. In the other districts over that time and
since he changed jobs, I don't think we have had a DE last two years.
If it weren't for VOLUNTEER continuity, we would have very little
continuity at all.
