The main change to the course is the use of "reflections" throughout the syllabu
s. I think they cut the time allotted for the Advancement presentation which wa
s already too short. Other than the use of the reflection method, the main chan
ges I saw was in little tidbits of policy and such.

Subject: New Fundamentals Syllabus
I have been asked to help staff the fall Scout Leader Fundamentals
course in my council. Earlier messages, I believe, said the course
had been changed recently. The local DE said "what changes?".
Can anyone tell me in brief, what the changes are compared to the
year-old syllabus I've been teaching out of for the last 3 yrs. or so?
The new training SM is interested in knowing what needs modification.
Is there a different national pub. #?
Thanks again Scouts-L!
