Ah yes, my friend is vindicated. It was Eagle BORs that he was talking about, I
assume, since he said this at the Eagle Guest Chairman meeting. I have another
point of contention, however. I recall at Wood Badge a discussion coming up on
the subject of who serves on the BOR. We found, in the SMHB or somewhere like
that, a reference to simply "leaders," but without the distinction between boy l
eaders and adult leaders. But then the Advancement Guidelines seem to be more p
"The board of review for an Eagle candidate is composed of a minimum of
three members and a maximum of six members. These members DO NOT HAVE TO BE
REGISTERED IN SCOUTING (my emphasis), but they must have an understanding of
the importance and purpose of the Eagle board of review."
