This is the one our pack currently uses, with of course lots of adult
supervision (I *never* realized how heavy my 8 year old is....).
We explain to the new cubs and their parents the significance of wearing the
badge upside down until they do a Good Turn. We also explain though, that an
award cannot be given upside down. Therefore, we have to turn the *boy*
upside down. Dads lift, Moms pin (allowing for differences in families the CM
is always willing to help lift the boy as needed).
We take pictures of each Bobcat pinning ceremony and its a great start for
the new year's scrapbook.
