How about a race....
Divide them into groups, and have a clothes relay...
Put on a pair of boots, a big coat, a scraf and gloves. No hat because of
lice. and then run, crawl, or hop your best to the other end of the gym and
let the next guy take over.. This will kill five minutes and burns over off
some of that cub scout energy.
Our prize was first in line for snacks at the end of the meeting.
Everyone throw there shoes into the middle of the gym. Cubmaster kicks them
around and mixes them up. Ready, set, Go... Find your shoes, put them on and
tie them. First one to the cubmaster wins.
ANOTHER Fun thing..
I reminded parents for months to bring a roll of tissue paper..but did't tell
them what for They guessed they would be wrapping up their scouts, but on
that day the scouts wrapped up their parents, and every thing else in sight.
The Pack sprung for a couple packs of paper for the ones who always forget.
Cameras flashed and we had some great shots.
