By "slide holders", I'm not sure if you mean the "ring" portion of the
slide or if you mean a contraption on which you can hang/slide your slide
when not being worn.
If you mean the "ring" portion, here's what we've used:
Just below the twist off caps on 2-liter and smaller sized plastic
pop/soda bottles is a perfectly sized ring. Be sure that the ring
has the "teeth" that can "catch" the neckerchief. I believe Coke
products have replaced the "teeth" with thicker segments of ring,
while Pepsi products still use the "teeth".
These can then be hot-glued to the neckerchief item - film cannister,
slice of wood, leather piece, etc.
