The Owensboro KY area is losing access to the Internet from our current
server. Several providers will probably emerge but it will take a month
or two to sort them out. Meanwhile I will be away from Scouts-L for
awhile. As a very outspoken person, I'm sure my absence will be noted -
with relish by some, I'm sure. That's fine - you are the ones I REALLY
enjoyed jawing with. I never made it to the 90s and have no plans to -
unless someone gives me better reasons than I see so far. I'm more
pleased with the way the world went prior to 1950 than since - in the
truly important matters, at least.
I haven't seen anyone post an earlier Eagle date than mine (October 1943)
but it might be interesting to learn who is the Grey Eagle on Scouts-L.
With one exception, I have never initiated a controversial subject but
many of you can say that the fight started when I hit you back! 8-) The
one exception was adults not being able to wear the Eagle patch. I solved
