My name is Janice Malone and I am the new Brownie Girl Scout Leader for
troop 50 in Mobile, Alabama. I have never personally been a girl scout,
but have always admired the honor and character associated with girl
scouts. So I encouraged my six-year old daughter to become a brownie
girl scout. Her troop leader last year wasn't too ambitious with
scouting activities. So this year, I decided to take the troop on
I decided to join this list because I don't personally know much about
girl scouting and am seeking ideas for activities, field trips, etc. I
also need to learn a few of the old tried and trusted girls scout songs
(hello! anybody can help me here??) the pledge, and the law (I can get
these from the usual girl scout books).
I know from the overview on this list, that its primary participants
are people seeking boy scout information. But I want to find out what
types of activities, field trips, etc. other brownie scout leader
across the country have set up for their troop, as well as other useful
brownie scout information. You can e-mail this info to me personally.
Thanks to all of you!
