I hope your assumption is correct! We have had no end of problems with
the CPR requirement in Lifesaving in the past. Camp Staffs did not want
to touch it, so partials were issued. Boys had to sign up for a full Red
Cross CPR class when they returned home as the Red Cross did not want to
shortcut the teaching. The CPR requirement was reduced to just having
some exposure or a little training in CPR recently. This helped a bunch.
If CPR is now required for several badges, troops would do well to arrange
the training during the year so the boys are ready when they get to camp.
