Like our new antelope (that rarest of beasts), who just recently posted that
he completed his first weekend of Wood Badge, I also am requesting
information and such on my patrol's namesake. I also, finished my first
weekend of Wood Badge this past Sunday.
I am a Buffalo, not much more common than Antelope, and just about as
cumbsersome to sing.
Does anyone have any ideas on songs, skits, cheers, patrol yells, and such?
All resources and advice will be gladly accepted *g*.
I have already fabricate 200 hundred "buffalo chips" -- poker chips painted
dark brown -- to be used at our next session.
I also need advice of a more difficult sort. I have a patrol that is not
really "into it" yet. They haven't caught on that all the silliness that
goes on is expected! They have referred to our Beavers and Foxes as
"brown-nosing beavers and foxes" as they made presentations to staff.
Anyone have hints on how to move my patrol along without it appearing that
I'm am forcing them? They weren't too keen on the buffalo chip idea, but I
hope that by doing it myself, I can rope them into it later and help give
some spark to our patrol.
