Our Pack dues are $50.00/year, including Boy's life and National
Registration. I have been associated with a pack that charges nothing
except National Registration, and had every bit as good a program. A lot
depends upon the local environment (Washington DC is expensive), and on
how effective you can be at fundraising. The current pack also gives out
lots of belt loops, pinewood derby medals at the den level and trophies
at the pack level, the pinewood derby kits, and both religious emblem
workbooks and advancement books for the next year. These were all much more res
trained than in the
We could probably knock $10-$15 off and it would cost us nothing except
an absolutely fantastic Blue and Gold (free to all Cubs, parents,
Grandparents, sibs etc, with entertainment).
We could knock off another $5.00 to $10.00 by greater restraint with
Pinewood derby etc, but the parents have by an overwhelming majority
indicated preference for the currenbt program.
Our Tiger Cubs are, of course, much much lower.
