My name is Christian Liljedahl. I am YMCA-scout in Denmark. I live in a part
of Copenhagen called Frederiksberg, where I am leader of kids from 8 - 12
years. I have enjoyed scouting for about 9 years of my 19 years old life.
I study physics at Copenhagen University, where I have my Inet adress.
My english is far from perfect, but I hope that you will understand anyway.
Besides my scout "work" in my local area, I am doing a lot of work at
Houens Odde Scout Centre - a really nice place.
There is a subject I would like to discous: I have heard, that the price
one have to pay to join the World Moot 1996 in Sweeden is calculated on
the base of the BNP of ones home country. That makes the price in Denmark
extremely high, because we have a large BNP. But because we have a large BNP
doesn't mean that the danish people have a lot of money. I think the idea is
good if it makes it possible for scouts with little money to join interna-
tional camps. But if it is the rich scouts in the country who are going
anywhere I cant see the point. I am not sure what I should think about
this matter, so if anyone has got an opinion about the issue - please write!
That was all for now - please write if you feel like
