Not all sad. If a Cub Scout earns these, here's what he can transfer
to his Scout uniform upon becoming a Boy Scout:
>From the left shoulder: Council Shoulder patch (CSP) and unit number
if it's the same as the Troop number.
>From the left pocket/side of shirt: World Crest; one service star
with the total number of years on a yellow background and one service
star with "1" on a orange background for Tiger Cub service; Arrow of
Light *patch*; square knots for the following: Heroism, Medal of
Merit, youth religious, Hornaday, and Honor Medal (youth members do NOT
wear the Arrow of Light square knot until they turn 18). The World
Conservation Award is to be earned again as Boy Scouts, so the Cub
Scout World Conservation Award cannot be transferred.
>From the right pocket/side of shirt: Interpreter strip; temporary
patch (one, centered on the right pocket and not exceeding the pocket
dimensions), recruiter strip.
>From the right shoulder: US Flag (if not already sewn on the
uniform), patrol medallion (if same as patrol/den in WEBELOS, likely).
Anything else I've left out?
