I think you need to reread what I wrote and not read in between the lines.
Many of your 'observations' were very far off course. (i.e., big production,
not trusting, expecting negative behavior, commando-style? ... where are you
getting this from?)
Bottom line, boys are boys, girls are girls. They do get together, it is a
simple fact of human nature. It doesn't happen every outing and it may happen
only once to 40% of the Scouts ... but it does happen, whether you see it
happening or not, regardless of trust, postive conditioning, etc. Even though
they are Scouts, they are human and humans do make mistakes ... mistakes are a
part of learning, growth and maturity.
BTW, I have never been considered a rebel ... just the opposite. Again, be
careful on 'observations' and don't read too much into what you read.
Also, you need to be careful with how you state opinions. I perceived a
'Holier than thou' attitude in your message and quite frankly, I was initially
turned off ... but I remained open-minded and read your entire message ...
three times ... before responding. I only ask the same of you. Before
'stating' what others are doing wrong, make sure that they are doing or not
doing what you have assumed.
