Minimum age - 14 by January 1 of the year they are going to Philmont.

I haven't seen any weight limits mentioned in the literature we have
received. However, every goes through a medical check-in before
leaving on an expedition. The last time our troop was at Philmont,
two of our adults had blood pressure readings that were two high. They
spent the night in the infirmary, rested and avoided caffine, and
then passed in the morning. If there blood pressure had not dropped
enough, they would not have been allowed to go on the expedition,
The medical staff may well filter out people who are obviously so
over-weight that it presents a heatlh risk.
