Our troop was informed to meet at a point near the outskirts of town to go on
a 2-3 mile hike to a campsite, for an overnighter. They were told to pack
light. One scout who I had had all thru Cubs, Webelos, and two years in the
troop showed up with a slumber bag in one hand, and a plastic grocery sack
with food and juice in the other hand. He said, *You said to pack light!*
He made it thru the overnighter with a lot of help from his friends.
