Thanks for the responce about this Years Gilwell Reunion, so her is a
few details about the reunion.
The programme details a from memory, how ever it stays very much the
same from year to year.
Gilwell Reunion 1995
IS OPEN ONLY TO WOODBAGE HOLDERS AND THEIR FAMILY
Date September 1-3
Entrance fee 16.00 UK Pounds
Theme Building on Strength.
The Programme (note based on my memory)
Friday Evening: Official opening followed by Barn Dance
Saturday: Morning - Afternoon, Activity Bases, and various displays, Badge
Swapping, Scout Shop, Scouting Magazine, etc
Evening Campfire, Entertainment ( This years is a 1940's style
Dance Band, dress style In the Mood )
There normally an alternative form of entertainment.
Sunday: Morning Religious services, The Scouts Own, 1st Gilwell Scout
Group A.G.M. followed by a display.
Afternoon: Is normally a concert by a Scout Band, Tea on the Lawn.
During the Weekend there are many events happening. One very popular activity
is getting your Scout Belt branded, with this year's and previous year's Gilwell
Scouting Magazine also produce a news sheets over the weekend in which all are
invited to contribute.
I do hope that those of us on the NET will be able to meet up.
