Need Help w/ NETSCAPE and WIN95

I hope no one minds my asking this here. I have tried talking with the
gurus that run the machines I use to access the amorphous entity called
the Internet, but to no avail. They haven't yet developed an installer
that works with WIN95.
Anyway, I am hoping someone on these lists can perhaps clue me in via
p r i v a t e e - m a i l on configuring SLIP with WIN95 so I can run
Netscape. So far, I can get Netscape running on my machine, but it is
unable to find a connection. Likewise, I can get Trumpet to run, but it,
too, fails to connect. All I've been able to find out is that I need to
find out how to set up my computer to run SLIP through our terminal server.
While I know [this is prob kinda wishful thinking ;-)], quite a bit about
PC machines as stand alones, I am network illiterate--and that includes
the Internet. For two years I have used e-mail and newsgroups on the
Internet, but now it's time to move on, do some of that surfing, et al.
I apologize to anyone who dl'd this because my subj line wasn't clear
enough. I know this isn't a typical topic for discussion here, but I
keep wanting to go visit all those homepages people refer to here.
