As someone who's been through the Mill as far as Training is
concerned, and have two Woodbagdes
I am wondering if it would nor be a good idea for the U.K Scout
Association, to set up a Junior Leader's scheme, were by all new
Leaders have to under go some form of formal training before being
granted a Warrent.
I have seen to many untrained Leaders let loose on a section, and
with being propely trained, while'st the try their best, can and do
I believe that such a scheme would improve the quality of Scouting.
Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
