Lynne and Tom,
First decide what you are interested in. When you see a subject line that
doesn't interest you, for example: cub scouts or girl scouts, just delete it.
You don't have to read it all.
Next think about the subjects you are interested in. After you're read
several responses and decided you've read enough, delete any remaining mail
referring to that subject.
It takes discipline, but it can be done.
Also it helps if you can scan the mail quickly to see if it's something
you're interested in.
