IT's NOT TOO LATE FOR SLIDES! If you have photographs. Most good photo
labs have the ability to make slides from prints. You pay for the service,
but it can be done. I currently use REI Photo Service (Seattle Film Works)
and get prints, slides, and nagatives from the same role of color print
film. For future Reference.
For both of my sons Eagle Scout Court of honor, I took the trail to Eagle,
added slides and "CUSTOMIZED IT" to the slides. (Some where after the Life
part I talked about other activities and pop-uped a slide of George with a
female friend.) With the right photos you can make this very entertaining,
except maybe to the embarased party in the slides! (Hey, it might be your
last chance to poke a good joke at him, do not worry, he's an Eagle, he
should be laughing along with everyone else!)
Fred Rogers did a good job of putting together some Eagle Ceremony ideas.
You can get his information and some other information by using this
(note this is not the regualr SCOUTS-L Address)
And placing the following message in the message body of the E-mail (no
signature lines please.)

for an index of all the Eagle tip files.
You may not want to send all the get messages at once. It could overload
your mail service. The EAGTIP18 file is the largest.
REMEMBER: It takes four to six weeks to get your Eagle application back
from National after the BOARD of REVIEW. You should not be planning a
court of honor based upon these dates, as something could delay the papers
from National or something could catch National's eyes and cause the papers
to be sent back (without the Eagle certificate). Eagle Courts of Honor do
not have to be held immediately, they can be arrange for a future date so
that family and friends you might want to attend the ceremony can make it
from out of town. An Eagle Court of Honor six months after the Baord of
Review is not uncommon.
Congratulations to your son. Good luck with the ceremony.
