This is not a chatty group, more an ask a question and discuss it group;
that's why you probably didn't feel responded to. When folks sign on I tend
to just note it, rather than reply to it, and I guess that's what most of
the folks do...
I'm just the second generation in Scouting, although the first generation
was in Scouting around World War I when R. I. Scouts were not even yet part
of BSA, or about the time they merged with BSA... Then it's been a long
time since I was 19... the third generation is my sons who are 20 and 17
