This is the first info flyer I put out on Scrip. We are currently making $
30,000/year with only a 5% participation. I HAVE NO INTEREST IN THIS
PROGRAM, JUST BELIEVE ME IT REALLY WORKS.

Are you tired of fundraisers ?
If it did not cost you any money, would you provide St. Ignatius with
$ 400 per year of income ?
What if we could eliminate fundraisers that cost you money out
of pocket in favor of one method of creating revenue that is
as easy as buying milk and bread at the grocery store ?
Would you support a program that could raise over $ 50,000 for our
community during the next year ?
When buying groceries or clothes, would you like the sales clerk, at no
additional cost, to rebate 3 % to 7 % of your purchase back to
St. Ignatius .
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you'll want to read the
following information. What we have to offer you is a program that results in
all of the above. We need your help to make it work and you won't have to
spend one extra penny from your budget. So what is it ?
INTRODUCING THE NEW AND EXPANDED ST. IGNATIUS $CRIP PROGRAM
$crip is a term that means "substitute money". In our program, $crip is a
negotiable gift certificate from one of over 50 Northern California and
national merchants. These gift certificates are the identical gift
certificates normally issued by the merchant. What makes this program work is
our ability to buy $crip at a discount through a center that purchases
millions of dollars of these certificates from grocery, department, drug and
retail stores throughout the country. You buy the gift certificates at face
value and use them in your everyday shopping. The discount becomes the day to
day revenue funding St. Ignatius while you do your grocery, drugstore and
Enclosed is an order form and order envelope to place your first order in
this program. You will see that you can order $crip from a variety of stores.
Orders need to be at St. Ignatius School or Rectory by Wednesday and will be
available for pick up the following Monday before and after school in the
back parking lot, at other times in the rectory, or sent home through your
child. Grocery $crip can still be purchased in the school office, and Rectory
during regular business hours and after Mass.
Please do not take this request lightly. Rejecting this program means saying
NO to something that does not cost you anything. Please give us your support
and SAY YES!! Remember you are already spending this money. All you have to
do is buy the gift certificates through our organization, rather than paying
cash at the store.

For more information, and info to set up, please call The National Scrip
Center at 800/538 1222. I could walk you through it, but it is much easier
this way. They really know how to do the program and are worth the 1/2 - 1 %
that they take to run their organization. More than 4,000 non profits
nationally are participating in the Scrip program with participation of over
250 vendors, including Price Club/Costco, Red Lobster, Fresh Choice, Macy's,
Safeway/Pak N Save.
