I am sure that there will be many responses to this but here goes mine.
These postings are simply the name of the patrol that these people were in
during their woodbadge training inserted into a song called the "Gilwell
Song". While woodbadge is only a week long course, or 3 weekends depending
on the program, the friendship and kinship develop lasts a lifetime and
acts as a bond between all woodbadgers from the same patrol regardless of
the course they attended.
As for me...
"I used to be a Bear, and a good ole Bear too!
Now I've finished Bearing, and don't know what to do.
I'm growing old and feable, and I can Bear no more
So I'm going to work my ticket if I can.
Back to Gilwell, happy land.
I'm going to work my ticket if I can"
Finished My ticket Tuesday and will get my beads in August.
