SHORT AND SIMPLE -- Cub Scouts have very few muscles with which to stand still.
Raise it and add a thought for the day (20-30 seconds, a minute at most)
For the end of the day ceremony, we often had a round of den yells. Each den
in turn tries to out do the others. Sometimes, everyone goes at once. When
the sign goes up, silence! Follow with a call to attention and lower the flag.
Dismiss immediately after the ceremony--forget the long announcements since the
Roundtable Commissioner, Pawnee Bill District, Will Rogers Council
