I crossed the warning about the trojan virus PKZ300B.xxx to another
mailing list. I received some criticism for spreading a rumor. Another
subscriber to this list contacted PKWARE directly in re this "rumor."
The response from PKWARE is attached--with emphasis added on the crucial

You've given good advice, and you are correct in almost everything you've
stated. However, the virus is not a rumor:

It is confirmed. PKZ300B.ZIP/EXE is a trojan version.
