Introduction of a Long time scouter

Hello Fellow Scouters,
Hi I was told to introduce my self to everyone so here I am.
My name is Pierre Berube
I currently a Assistant Scoutmaster for a Troop in Crystal Lake
My History in Scouting started in 1958 as a Cubscout With Pack 141
out of Milbrae, Ca. (Pine Tree District)and later a Boy Scout up in
till 1963 where I finished off as a 1st Class Scout. With Troop
In 1970 I came back to my old Troop and was a Assistant Scoutmaster
for 3 years. Also during that time I was a Unit Commissionor for
Exploror Post for the San Francisco Council.
The in 1984 my wife and I became Tiger Cub parents and organizers
for a Pack in Tonganoxie,Ks for one year. We then moved in summer
of 1985 and became envolved in Cub Scouts with our son. My Wife was
a Den Leader and I worked on Outings. I then became a Webelos Den
Leader and worked on the new (at the time 2 year Webelos program)
and was Invited to attend Cubscout Leader Woodbadge EC-CS-15 "Fox"
I then worked as Assistant District Commissioner "Webelos Resouce"
during this time.
In 1986 I took SLD (6 phase) and started my Troop in December of
In Mid 1989 I lost my site and was kinda sorta off and on working
with the boys.
Things for the next years were tough but had fun. It was in 1993 My
Dog Guide Dusty and myself experenced Boy Scout Woodbadge
"Bobwhite" The next year we both received our beads.
The next year my Son became a Eagle Scout.
Now I am Assistant Scoutmaster for my Troop 127 in Crystal Lake,IL
and also am a Head CampMaster for Camp Lakoda North West Suburban
Council in Woodstock, IL.
I would like to hear from you all and I hope that I can contribute
as much as i can. My spelling may not be great but to my computer
it sounds ok.
