Well, basically you are correct. But, there are steps involved that are not
listed in the "Handbook", like what order signatures are to be gotten on the
Eagle App, that it must go to the Service Center for verification of dates
before the board of review. I do about 20 to 30 Eagle boards every year and
find that some troops, especially those with new adult leadership, don't
really know the procedure. We try to educate them at round tables, but a
number of them don't show up. So, I figured that if I could hand out a check
sheet it might make my job easier, because I hate to go to a board of review
where the signatures have not been gotten and tell them sorry but you must
get the signatures first.
