My question to you would be....How are the boys better served? Are they
better served by receiving the recognition before the summer being able to
wear them to summer camp or do you better serve them by making them wait?
I guess, technically, the service stars are actually dependant on the date
upon which the youth entered the program. December to December, or
whatever the case may be. This holds true with adults as well. However,
you may have a boy transfer and the new pack may not be as organized in
awarding service stars. What about a boy that moves up to Boy Scouts?
You should use your best judgement and serve the boys. They are the
reason we are here......
