Along with every other post I've read on this subject... I agree
you did the right thing... You cannot really know the extent of a head-injury
without proper medical assistance or equipment.
But I do have 1 criticism (and I mean this in the most Scouting of ways)...
Your post stated you sent 'an' adult down the hill... Let's not forget the
buddy system. What would have happened in his haste to get help, he stumbled
down the hill and was hurt himself.
That is my only 'constructive' criticism. Also, was there any involvement with
the Scouts in the first-aid... would be great to hear how they (if at all)
handled the situation!
