Hank Heine in his reply stated (I paraphrase) that this suggestion (to
require signup in a troop for AOL award) might be another attempt by "them"
to impose a requirement on "us." Why must it always be "them (national) vs
us (the rest of scouting"). If you reread the original post, the writer said
that this was suggested at one of the Key Three seminars. He did not say
"national" said it.
To clarify, the Key Three seminars at the national council meeting are small
froup discussions among councils of similer sizes LED BY THE KEY THREE OF ONE
OF THE COUNCULS. Get it! None of "them" are even in the room. Let's stop
all this "bad guys at national" horse-pucky and realize that them is us.
