I gave my notice at my company last week and Friday (May 26)
will be my last day here.
I will be joining a very young firm and will be on the road
alot so my connection to scout-l will be very limited.
The hardest part of this change will be my reduction
in the troop because I will not be able to make a lot of the meetings.
I feel it is critical that leaders make the vast majority
The very best part of my new job is that I will be working with
lots of companies in a more "people-oriented" job as oppose to my
straight technical position currently (No more cutting code!).
Addtionally, my commute goes from 35 miles to 2!
I will formally say good bye on Friday, BUT, I have never met a
more dedicated group of individuals WORLD-WIDE that love working
with the boys and girls. The scouts will never know how lucky
they are to have such a fine, well informed and well intentioned
group of people batting for them every day.
Each and every one of you know that we are in it for he boys and
from the messages, you work very well with the kids.
May the BSA folks have the wonderful success of of having your boys
reach the Eagle rank and may the USGSA folks reach the gold certificate level!
May you and your families have great joy, success, properity and most
of all good health.
As I travel, I will try to find local troops to visit!!
