The World badge worn in Australia sounds the same as the one described
in this discussion about the BSA's rules, but here it is presented at
investiture to signify membership of the Worldwide Scouting Movement.
I must admit I am a bit perplexed at all this discussion about
precisely where it should be worn, how far from this seam or that
fold! While there appears to be some symbolism in the origins, it
seems more to do with the rules now and I wonder what the intended
purpose of the rules are.
