I have to agree that challenging conditions do make fond memories. My
most treasured memory of Scouting was a campout in Northern Indiana where
the temperature dropped 15 degrees in five minutes, we got hail, sideways
rain and then watched a tornado about 10 miles off.
If you see the expression "Used to be an Eagle" it means used to be an
Eagle Patrol or Den member in a Wood Badge Troop or Pack. Not to be
confused with an Eagle Scout - once an Eagle Scout always an Eagle.
