Re: Silver World and Silver Wolf

I was hoping that someone would clarify this for me on the Silver Wolf. I
had eard of the Bronze Wolf, but the only reference I have heard was that the
Silver Wolf (or is it Fox?) was an award that was given by the Native
American Committee on Scouting to Scouters of Native American heritage for
service to Native American youth. It was given like the Silver Beaver, and
holds a similar place in the recognition hierarchy.
Seems I heard of some such recognition having been given to such Native
American greats as Chief Dan George (Keep America Beautiful promo spots) and
a couple of others.
Maybe it was "Fox", because if I remember right, the Silver recognitions
follow similar names as the Wood badge patrols in this country (Beaver,
Eagle, Buffalo, Antelope, Fox?).
(and a good ole Owl, too! - thank God they did not call the Silver Dollar,
er, James E. West Foundation Award the "Silver Owl.":)
