Junior Leader Training

I'm a new Asst. ScoutMaster in Troop 224, Sherwood, OR. One of my tasks is
Junior Leader Training. I have the manual published by BSA on the topic, and I
want to do this in an outdoor setting (an overnight campout). Does anyone out
there have some ideas for team building exercises? One I've heard about is to
tie the ends of about forty feet of rope together and have about eight
blindfolded Scouts hold the rope standing in a rough circle. The leader, who is
not blindfolded, must get the scouts in position to "square the circle". He can
only do this with verbal instructions. Sounds easy, but I'll bet that it's not!
I'm looking for some more ideas like that. The objective is to bond the JL's
into a functioning team.
Any help will be sincerely appreciated.
