CUB OBSTACLE COURSE

For the last two years my Cub Scout Pack has set up an obstacle
course at our annual Scout-O-Rama. Both years we were awarded
the _Best Public Participation_ award.
Our obstacle course has consisted of the usual things like run-
ning through 12 old tires, a low-crawl under some ropes
strung between stakes, 3-4 hurdles, and a balance beam. But the
biggest draw has been an obstacle we call _The Web_.
The Web consists of a donated A-frame type backyard swingset
with a bunch of string stretched between the A-frame uprights
somewhat like a spider web. The more strings the better.
We run two identical lanes with the participants coming through
the web from the back side as they return to the starting line.
Of all the activities, this seems to be by far the most fun. Just
remember to have a pocketknife handy to cut loose those _adults_
that get into the web but can't get out <:-)). (Haven't had to
help any of the kids yet though).
Have fun with your obstacle course.
