Chuck Bramlet made a very good point to me. Since I'm use to my
location, I gave no indication of where Passaconaway Lodge is, or about
the camps. So, here I go. I apoglize to the group for this message.
Passaconaway Lodge 220, along with Hidden Valley Scout Reservation, Camp
Carpenter, and Mead Wilderness Base are all located in New Hampshire.
Those camps are all owned and operated by the Daniel Webster Council,
Inc. Hidden Valley Scout Reservation is the Council's primary Boy Scout
Camp. They are expected almost 3,000 scouts to attend the camp this year
(it's 25th year). This caused the need for expansion of the shooting
sports ranges, which Passaconaway Lodge will be helping with.
Mead Wilderness Base is the DWC's High Adventure Camp. We would be
helping to improve some of the exsisting structures on the property.
Camp Carpenter is the DWC's Cub Scout Resident Camp. This is it 50th
year as a DWC camp. The OA's project there is to help renovate some of
the Staff Cabins.
Hope this helps...
