As I mentioned in my post, we had a non-member Scout Master for 3 1/2
years. He was great! (He *is* great!) The LDS Church is a strong supporter
of the scouting program. We welcome all who want to support a wholesome
program. The youth seem to have a great time, and we do a lot of neat
things. We know that we are held responsible by Heavenly Father for all
that we do with and for the boys. Thus we do our best.
Of course, your mileage will vary. I can only describe the units we have
here in Raleigh, NC. But I expect that this is generally the case
throughout the country.
