OK I'm wrong I thought that most people would know what an AGM is.
I can see now that assumption was incorrect, sorry.....
An AGM is an Annual General Meeting (ahhhh) The one that I am doing my displays
for is the Harpenden & Wheathampstead District that takes place on June 6th.
Its for adults although youth may attend if they want to get bored.
Its aimed at all Scouters/parents/helpers in the district so covers a large
x-section of ages & occupations.
The format is reports from the District section Leaders, general back slapping
and thanks to all etc. which doesn't take too long. At the back of the hall
their are displays from different areas of responsiblity. My displays will be
under Leader Training. One part using my Canadian project info and reports etc
one part using info grabbed from the List and other places including notes from
other users of the Scouts-l list.
I hope that this clarrifies any queries that people may have had as to what is
an AGM that may have put you off sending a small (half a page will do) note of
greetings and maybe a word or two about yourself.
I have posted this to Jeanne & to Scouts-l list
ps Jeanne I like your sig line

| When I was small I was a Wolf Cub. When I was bigger I was just a Cub |
| When I was just a bit bigger I was a Wolf for quite a while. |
