Well, that brings up the question of tour permits.
I am under the understanding that we need tour permits
any time we camp.
I pulled a tour permit for a camping trip in town and a couple
of adults looked at me if I had green hair (I don't!).
I was under the understanding that this was a method
for BSA to know what a troop is doing and to
set up insurance for the trip.
What am I missing here?
I know one thing that caught people by surprise
is that we no longer ask for insurence coverage (had a whole
flack about that!) because Massachusetts requirements are more
strict than BSA just to register a car. We just write in
the column "Mass. Coverage exceeds BSA requirements".
