Yes, our troop does a survey annually. The purpose is to get feedback on the
years Scouting program. We cover: Leadership skills, specific activities and
locations of trips, behavior and ask appropriate questions to get the parents
general sense of "Troop well being" (e.g. do they feel things work smoothly or
always seem to be last minute and rush, rush?).
These surveys are returned by 90% of the parents.
A similar survey, but constructed for middle school age children, is provided
to the Scouts and are completed during a meeting.
The data is used to the annual planning team while preparing the next year's
activity plan and schedule of events.
