Kevin, the BSA really does have a series of books on this topic. I was
actually quite impressed with the program thjat the BSA has. It has allowed
me to have two special scouts in my troop attain the Rank of Eagle these past
My guess is there was probably an old copy of some publication collecting
dust in your council store (these items are not exactly BSA's hottest
sellers). The best way to check is to ask the office for a free copy of
"Scouting's Library of Literature." In the guide you will find up to date
subjects, prices, and stock numbers.
